NOTES
- No surviving burial record however, his will was proven in Lezayre which is not the usual "home" parish of the Mylrea clan
- Surviving Lezayre parish records: baptisms 1690, Marriages 1696, Burials 1696. Land records in 1600 show a Thomas Mcylrea, and a Donald Mcylrea on Intacks. Part of Thomas's intack was passed to Christian, who was the daughter of Donald (information from LV entries). A will exists for a Danold Mc Lerea of Lezayre, who died 1620
- Apparently Edward was son of Donld & Christian Casement (how did I know that?) There were several Donald Mylreas who were fathers at the time, but Edward cannot be linked to:
- BALLAUGH - Donald (who married Annas Garrett) unless Donald married for a second time, after Annas died in 1602. However, both Donald & Annas only mention two children, John & Margaret, whereas this current will refers to 2 bretheren & a sister. This Donald might have died in 1631
- BALLAUGH - Donald (who was the father of Annas (Cowley)) because she died in 1636, having inherited her father's lands, something that could not have happened if there was a surviving son
- Best guess is that even though Edward cannot be placed into a Mylrea family, he probably came from Ballaugh originally
